Superintendent Update

Good Evening, Warren Students, Staff, and Families,

We have some important information for the week of December 17th.

In a couple of days, winter break will be here, and the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year will be completed! I want to give a WarrenWill shout-out to our students, staff, and families for an outstanding first half of the year! Thank you for your hard work and commitment to growing our students!

Enrollment Management / Redistricting Plan

As we head into winter break, we have reached the midpoint of our enrollment management and redistricting initiative. To provide an update—specifically on the work of our Focus Groups—we have created a series of short video interviews featuring each Focus Group lead. These videos offer an overview of each group’s purpose, progress, and key priorities to date.

The videos are linked below and are also available on the district’s Enrollment Management and Redistricting webpage. They are intended to help inform and prepare our staff and families for a broader conversation, which will continue at our community engagement work session on Monday, January 5th. This meeting will be held at the Warren Education and Community Center from 6:00 - 8:00 and will be livestreamed by using this link. Please see the flyer below for additional details.

Due to some unexpected delays in receiving data and information from external sources, we have adjusted the timeline of the enrollment management and redistricting process. It is important that we provide our staff and families with accurate, complete information and sufficient opportunities for input and feedback throughout this process. With that in mind, final recommendations will be presented for Board consideration at the February 18th School Board Meeting. This will still give us enough time to plan, prepare, and implement any approved changes for the 2026-2027 school year.

2026 MSD Warren Township Legislative Forum

You are invited to join the MSD Warren Township community  for our Annual Legislative Forum on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.  – 11:30 a.m. at the Warren Education & Community Center, 975 North Post Road. This engaging community conversation brings together parents, staff, community members, and local and state legislators to discuss key issues impacting public education during the current legislative session. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from an invited panel of elected leaders, ask questions, and share perspectives—all while enjoying a light continental breakfast. No registration required. A detailed agenda will be shared closer to the event date.

I would like to wish all of our students, staff, and families a wonderful holiday season and winter break! I hope the break provides moments of joy, renewal, and gratitude as we prepare to return refreshed and ready for the new year ahead.
