DC Principles of Early Childhood
This course examines basic principles of child development, importance of family, licensing, and elements of quality care of young children with an emphasis on the learning environment related to health, safety, and nutrition.

DC Early Childhood Education Curriculum
Early Childhood Education Curriculum examines developmentally appropriate environments and activities in various childcare settings while exploring the varying developmental levels and cultural backgrounds of children.

DC Early Childhood Education Capstone
The Early Childhood Education Careers Capstone is a senior only class that will place qualified students who have completed the Early Childhood Education Careers pathway into a Work Based internship at the Warren Early Childhood Center. This course will focus on getting students to complete their CDA certification. This class requires an instructor recommendation.

•Dual Credit: Yes; Institution: Ivy Tech; Credits Offered: 3 Prerequisites: 480 hours work experience with a specific age group and teacher approval.
