Greetings, This is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
This Monday, September 2nd there will be no school in recognition of Labor Day. Additionally, Tuesday, September 3rd is a district wide eLearning day to allow for staff professional development. Students will be responsible for completing work assigned by teachers through Canvas. Attendance marked for the day will be based on completion of eLearning work. This is also a time where we encourage students to use this time to get caught up on any missing/late work. Grades were posted for MQ1 this past Wednesday. If you have not already please review your student's grades. There is plenty of time between now and the end of the quarter for students to boost grades. Friendly reminder that 9 weeks grades are averaged at the end of the semester to determine credits earned for the semester.
We continue to focus on attendance and students arriving to school and class on time. We will continue to remind students of our expectations and would love for you to reinforce our attendance expectations at home. It is proven that students who attend school regularly and on time are much more successful academically. Your support is greatly appreciated.
