Will Harris in the air about to dunk.

A kid dreams of playing ball, but throughout his life, he’s been told he’s too small, too short. Even through the challenges, he succeeds. His name is Will Harris. Will Harris is a goat in an animal world, and he aspires to play professional “roarball.”

The story of Will Harris, as shown in the upcoming “GOAT” movie, is very similar to professional basketball player Stephen Curry’s story.

The directors of this film are Tyree Dillihay and Adam Rosette. Dillihay has worked on the well-known show “Bob’s Burgers,” an animated comedy show. Rosette is known for movies like “The Wild Robot,” “Bad Guys” and “Croods: New Age.” They are also having the movie animated by Sony, which brought “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” and “KPop Demon Hunters” to life. Big names for a big movie. Speaking of big names, Stephen Curry is both a producer and a voice actor for this film, but he is not voicing Will. That role will be voiced by Caleb McLaughlin, best known as Lucas Sinclair in “Stranger Things.”

More voice actors include David Harbour, most recognized for his role as Jim Hopper in “Stranger Things,” Patton Oswalt, most recognized for his voice as Remy from “Ratatouille,” and two-time Grammy Award-winning Jennifer Hudson, along with many others.

The animation for this movie is superb and will probably, yet again, be an animation masterpiece by Sony. It has its own unique feel but still has a resemblance to the “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” style.

At first, people could assume that this movie is about how the main character, Will Harris, became a roarball player. Then by the end of the movie, he finally becomes one. But it seems that Will becoming a player is only the rising action in the middle of the movie. The prediction for the rest of the movie is that it is about not only how he becomes a player but also how he saved the team and became one of the greatest players in roarball history.

Overall, this movie has the opportunity to be a good watch. Whether you’re a kid, teen or adult, you can appreciate the style and message of the movie. “GOAT” will be out in theaters on Feb. 13.
