Introduction to Manufacturing
Grades 10-11-12 (both semesters required)
There are no prerequisites for this class. Students planning to take Advanced Manufacturing or Welding Technology are advised to take this course during the sophomore year. Introduction to Manufacturing focuses on precision machining and welding, manufacturing tools, materials, and processes. The course introduces students to manufacturing processes including forming, fabricating, conditioning, and finishing for metals, plastics, and other materials. This class will meet five days a week for one period and one credit can be earned per semester.
